Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. T/C apply.
All goods returned will incur a 15% handling fee.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Should you order the wrong product we will gladly exchange this, however it will be for the customers own account to arrange the collection of your shipment and the delivery of the new shipment. 
Please note: All electrical hair care tools cannot be refunded once opened and used as this is a health hazard and we cannot refund our customers due to it being the wrong hair care tool.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@michaeljameshair.co.za. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: The Interchange, 1 Builders Warehouse center Nobel street the interchange, Somerset West, 7130.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We make use of a courier service to our clients door, Please stipulate your address when contacting us so that we can arrange a collection.

We reserve the right to ask for photo evidence of the damage/issue of the product so we can assist in the best possible way.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards and used products.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 

Within seven days after purchase, you can return any unopened, sealed, and unused product for a store credit voucher if you decide you don't want it. Cash refunds are not available.
We will notify you once we’ve received it and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded with a store credit.

Discount codes and usage

Please note, that our discount of 10% applies to first time purchases should it be utilized by the buyer.

Codes are unique and are generated for each new customer. 
Discount codes cannot be exchanged for money. 
Should you forget to use your code after checkout , we can’t refund you the difference you would have paid should you have used your discount. However you can use your unique code on your next purchase.
